About Elevate Aerial Solutions
I'm Andrew — the person behind Elevate Aerial Solutions, based in Bolton, UK.
It started with a genuine interest in drones, aerial imagery, and the idea that visual data can be turned into something genuinely useful. What began as hands-on experimentation has grown into a developing drone service focused on delivering high-quality aerial photography, video, and mapping for local businesses and property owners across the North West.
I'm building this one flight at a time — and I'd love to bring your project along for the ride.

Elevate Aerial Solutions is an early-stage drone business based in Bolton, focused on providing simple, high-quality aerial imagery and video for properties, land, and local projects.
We're currently building our portfolio and refining our services, with a focus on creating useful content that helps people see things from a different perspective. Whether it's a few aerial photos, a short video, or a detailed overhead view, our aim is to keep the process straightforward and accessible.
Equipment & Technology
At the heart of our setup is the DJI Air 2S, a compact but capable drone equipped with a 1-inch CMOS sensor capable of capturing 20MP photos and recording 5.4K video. Its intelligent flight features and high image quality make it ideal for property showcases, landscape imagery, and project documentation.
To process and deliver content, we use a combination of industry-standard tools and open-source software, including:
🎥 DaVinci Resolve
Used for editing and colour grading aerial video to produce clean, professional-looking footage ready for websites, social media, and marketing.
🗺️ WebODM
Used to create orthomosaics, overhead maps, and other aerial data products from captured imagery, allowing sites and land to be viewed from a completely different perspective.
📸 Photography & Image Processing
Captured imagery is carefully selected and enhanced to ensure the final results are clear, sharp, and ready to use.

The focus is on learning and building a repeatable workflow for capturing aerial imagery and turning it into useful outputs such as maps, 3D models, and site visuals.
Rather than a commercial service, this is a hands-on build process—testing ideas in real environments and improving the workflow over time.
This is not a certified surveying service and does not claim engineering-grade accuracy.
The focus is experimentation, learning, and developing practical workflows using accessible drone and mapping tools.
